Leonardo’s offers a wide variety of on-site and outreach educational classes and events for all ages. We are always open to ideas for new classes, subject to approval and funding availability.

Current Programs
Drone Legends™ STEM Fundamentals
Drone Legends™ transforms STEM education with its comprehensive Turnkey Curriculum Systems, creating a seamless, accessible cycle of learning and development for both educators and students. This curriculum, designed by educators for educators, aligns with the highest educational standards, ensuring effective and engaging programs. The mantra “Inside Every Child Lives a Legend” drives this initiative, inspiring students to develop a passion for STEM and CTE (Career and Technical Education). STEM Fundamentals features ten drone-themed STEM missions that teach students to work in teams, fail-forward, and explore solutions to real-world problems. This program has two additional classes to meet real world drone pilots and additional learning opportunities.
Curricular Topics Include: Drone Piloting, Engineering Design Process, Aerial Video & Editing, Real-World Drone Applications, Coding Concepts, Science & Math Applications, and Intro to Visual-Based Coding. Art in Action: Perspective in Art
Art in Action offers a robust art curriculum that provides materials and training to help students develop creativity, critical thinking, self-expression, and resilience. Through hands-on learning, students gain knowledge in art techniques, cultural understanding, and core academic subjects. This year’s focus, “Perspective In Art,” allows students to practice perspective, highlighting and shading, form, and 3-D perspectives through the study of artworks by Maurice Utrillo, Paul Cezanne, Johannes Vermeer, and others.
Curricular Topics Include: Artists such as Johannes Vermeer and Vincent van Gogh, along with additional integration subject such as science, language arts, and social studies. Art Quest
Every child is an artist! These classes are offered at 11 AM and 3 PM on the first and third Saturday of each month (September—May) at no extra charge for museum guests ages 4-12. Parents are encouraged to participate as well in nurturing a child’s natural creativity.

Sizzlin' Science
The Sizzlin’ Science program offers a wide variety of science courses that are correlated to Common Core standards. This program is designed to help support the ongoing success of the students. To enhance a student’s life and knowledge by introducing them to great artists, paintings, and techniques used to create masterpieces. Designed to introduce the world of art to students of all ages, Art Smart allows Leonardo's instructors to bring the techniques of the masters to life through creative teaching, interactive lessons, and fun art projects!
