At Leonardo’s Children’s Museum, we offer a variety of educational programs and camps designed to spark creativity, promote hands-on learning, and inspire a love for exploration. Our offerings include a mix of after-school activities, seasonal camps, and specialized workshops that encourage children to engage with science, art, technology, and more.

Each program is designed to provide an interactive, fun experience where children can develop new skills, make lasting memories, and expand their knowledge in a supportive, engaging environment. With options available for different age groups and interests, Leonardo’s is the perfect place for kids to discover something new and exciting!

Discovery After School: Sparks Youth Drama Club
Leonardo's Discovery After-School: SPARKS Youth Drama Club
Fall 2026 Semester
Leonardo's Discovery After-School: SPARKS Youth Drama Club invites students to discover the world of theatre through acting, movement, storytelling, and stage performance. In partnership with Gaslight Theatre, students will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork while working together to bring a live production to the stage.
Whether your child dreams of performing or is simply ready to try something new, SPARKS provides a fun, supportive environment where every student has a role to play.
Important Information:
  • SPARKS is open to students in Grades 1–5
  • Fall 2026 semester runs August 31 through November 18
  • Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00–6:00 PM (24 classes total)
  • Classes will be held in the Leonardo's Education Annex
  • Students will present a live performance at Gaslight Theatre on Saturday, November 21
  • Tuition is $240 for members and $288 for non-members
  • Scholarships are available for qualifying families
  • If your student qualifies, you will receive a promo code to complete enrollment
  • Enrollment is limited to 30 students
  • Snacks and all program materials are provided
Discovery After School: STEM Club
Leonardo's STEM Club invites curious kids in 3rd–6th grade to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through age-appropriate, hands-on lessons, weekly challenges, and teamwork. Each week brings a new topic, physics, engineering, chemistry, technology, and more, as club members collaborate, take risks, and grow into confident problem-solvers.

  • Classes meet Tuesdays from 4:00–6:00 PM
  • A snack will be provided, along with all materials for each mission
  • Tuition is $10 per class for members and $12 per class for non-members

Discovery After School: Winter/Spring Art Club
Leonardo's Art Club invites young creators in 2nd–5th grade to explore art history, techniques, and self-expression through drawing, painting, sculpture, and more. Using the nationally recognized Art in Action curriculum, students build creativity, critical thinking, and confidence, growing into artists who aren't afraid to make and create.

  • Art Club is for students in 2nd through 5th grade
  • Fall 2026 session runs 12 weeks, with the option to enroll month by month
  • Classes meet Thursdays from 4:00–6:00 PM
  • A snack will be provided, along with all materials for each mission

Leonardo's Discovery Camp - Discover Your Town!
They say it takes a village to raise a child, and this summer at Leonardo’s, we’re inviting campers to discover theirs.

At Summer Discovery Camp, we’re bringing back our Discover Your Town theme with a new focus each week. From the people who grow our food to the ones who keep our community safe, campers will explore what makes our town work.

Each week focuses on a different part of community life, helping campers understand the people and systems that keep a town running.

Through hands-on activities, creative projects, and play, campers will explore farming, engineering, public safety, and more. Every day is designed to spark curiosity and keep kids engaged.

Camp Details
Dates: June 1 – July 24, 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ages: Pre-K through 5th Grade
Camp runs in weekly sessions. Enroll in one week or as many as you’d like.

Pricing:
Standard: $150 per week
Leonardo’s Members: $130 per week

2026 Summer Camp Apprentice Program (Ages 12–15)
Build confidence. Gain experience. Be part of the fun.
Leonardo’s Summer Camp Apprentice Program is for teens who are ready to step into a leadership role while being part of a fun, fast-paced environment. Apprentices work alongside our staff during Discovery Camp, helping with activities, supporting younger campers, and keeping the day running smoothly throughout the museum and Adventure Quest.

This is a hands-on role. Apprentices don’t just observe. They jump in. Whether it’s helping lead a game, guiding a group through an activity, or stepping in where needed, they are an important part of the team and the overall camp experience.

What apprentices will gain:
  • Real leadership experience in a structured, supervised setting
  • Experience working directly with younger children
  • Stronger communication and teamwork skills
  • Volunteer or service hours for school or other programs
  • A fun, active, and meaningful way to spend part of the summer
At Leonardo’s, we believe play is powerful, and our apprentices help create a place where kids can explore, learn, and have fun.

WOW Science
Bring the excitement of Leonardo’s science shows straight to your classroom or library! Mr. Riley delivers high-energy demonstrations that make science fun and unforgettable. Choose from several show options to fit your schedule and budget — each packed with learning, laughter, and a big WOW!

ARTSmart
Explore the world of art and creativity with Mr. Alex and Leonardo’s ArtSmart program! Using the Meet the Masters curriculum, students learn about famous artists and create their own masterpieces through interactive, multimedia lessons.
