School is out for summer and it doesn't mean learning has to end. Summer break can mean a learning loss for some children, but by keeping young minds active and engaged they can instead continue to grow and flourish. Summer is a great time to try new things.

"The best learning comes from having fun, " says DaVinci Day Camp Director Jaime Smith.

Children at Leonardo's DaVinci Day Camp Week One Bodies in Motion  began the week with the sounds of the groovy disco era. The iconic "Staying Alive" song might not be familiar to them but learning the dances are fun.  This high energy camp has a different type of dance each day. Not only the sounds of the disco era, but Hip-Hop and Square dancing as well.. DaVinci Day camp is not only hands on but the whole body in motion.....

Besides learning some cool dance moves, campers do art and science projects during the week. Each day is different. Oklahoma state certified teachers include art and science lessons in planning the week. Weather permitting, the campers get to play outside in Adventure Quest each day and before the camp begins they play in the museum. Healthy snacks are included. For 26 years Leonardo's has been having camps that enrich and inspire children of all ages. DaVinci Day Camp Bodies in Motion is just the first week of eight different weeks of camp for children this summer. Each week has a different theme with activities based on the theme.

Next week, June 11-15 is Magic Tree House Week and will focus on a different book each day including activities about dinosaurs, pirates, volcano's and tornado's.
