The force is strong with this camp! Star Wars week is not just about the popular movies, but also focuses on planets and the solar system. DaVinci Day campers are using their imaginations, creating cool art projects and learning fun science.

The first Star Wars movie was released in 1977 and has been a commercial success with over $8.5 billion in box office revenue. The first 8 films have been nominated for Academy Awards and the movies have created a huge franchise industry of video games, comic books, action figures, etc. This popular movie series is a great way to motivate children to learn.

Creative play with hand made light sabers or Star Wars Chewbacca puppets are fun for all ages.  Even the Leonardo's Apprentices are enjoying this week!

This week is one of the most popular weeks of DaVinci Day Camp! Besides hands on art and science lessons, campers get free time to explore the museum and play outside at Adventure Quest each day. Included in the camp are healthy snacks in the morning and afternoon.

Next week is Holiday's Around the World. Each day campers will be learning about a different holiday from around the world. Friday, the last day, will be Christmas in July! It is not too late to sign up for next week, but it is a good idea to call to see availability. Call Leonardo's at 580-233-2787.
