What To Expect As You Come To Play At Leonardo's (In A World Facing COVID19)
From the Director:
Although it was very difficult to close for 70 days, we know it necessary to slow the spread on COVID19. The Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and I are very excited to be slowly reopening. But we do NOT take this situation lightly and we are strictly following Center for Disease Control guidelines for safety precautions with COVID19. Leonardo’s Children’s Museum has reopened with a limited capacity of 150 guests inside the museum and 150 guests outside at our one of a kind Adventure Quest. Thus far, attendance has not exceeded out limits at any given time. Therefore we will continue to be open in this manner until there is a change in the Center for Disease Control recommended procedures. Intensive cleaning and sanitizing procedures are being carried out throughout the day. Staff has been thoroughly trained on precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID19. Leonardo’s has always had Safety as our #1 core value. At the front desk we do confirm that everyone entering the building is feeling well and has no fever. We ask for any guests over 4 years old to wear a mask. There are hand washing stations throughout the museum and plenty of reminders to do so. Every family must carefully consider each situation and make your own decision on when to visit businesses like ours again. On this page we you will find some things to help you prepare for your visit. You will be see the procedures and safety policies that we have put into place. There are even some photos to help familiarize you will some of the changes. Leonardo’s cannot wait to see our families again soon. Most Respectfully, Tracy Bittle, M.P.H. |
Notice: Drinking Fountains are Closed We recommend bringing your own bottled water. No other beverages are allowed on the museum floor. |
